two questions about immune system/reproduction Empty two questions about immune system/reproduction

1. Do we have to know why pregnant woman doesn't reject her fetus as nonself tissue in detail?? because it seems like the book only suggest some hypothesis, not definite reasons......

2. since HIV was not covered in lecture (although it was one of the lecture objectives) and wasn't on the midterm, we don't have to know it for the final, right? Anything not covered in lecture, we're not responsible for ...?

These were not covered in lecture, thus you are not responsible for knowing them for the midterm. Again, any details not covered in lecture you are not responsible for knowing unless Prof. Wasserman or other professors specifically said/wrote, you are responsible for getting this in the book and learning it outside of lecture.
